So, I had one of my favorite interactions ever on the humorous side with students while I was substitute teaching today. The conversation went something like this in front of a whole room of sixth graders at the beginning of a class.
Student #1: "Are you a teenager?"
Me: "No, but thanks for thinking so!"
Student #2: "Are you strict?"
Me: "Probably."
